The return of the biggest race of the year for the Far North, the annual Barrier Reef 1000 was held at Cairns International Speedway.
As always, the track was prepared immaculately by the FNQ Speedway club and it made for some exciting racing in both the solo and sidecar divisions.
I continued my winning streak in Cairns with another clean sweep of the heats with 15 points and a big win in the final made it a perfect 18 point maximum.
It was a special night as it marks my second consecutive maximum and my fourth consecutive win at the Cairns International Speedway!
It is also means I have finished in the top 2 for the last 5 races I have entered. It's certainly an exciting few months leading into title time!
A special mention to Robbie from the Barrier Reef Tourist Park for the assistance in the pits on race night and his hospitality.
